As part of Covid Room Birthday party, the live streamed dj-sets will be accompanied by virtual art performances. French artist and interaction designer @melanie_pastr creates speculative worlds and environments using digital mediums such as virtual and augmented reality, 3D and video games. The 12th at 9pm UTC+1 she'll present a performance in collaboration with 3 dancers, whose bodies and movements will be translated into live computer graphics by an AR technology developed by the artist herself. The 12th at 11pm, the Italian digital artist @vittoriaelenasimone will be streaming Generative Art visuals interacting with the live music set. The 13th at 6pm, 7pm and 10pm, the second day of the event will be opened by 3 short dance performances by Milanese dance collective @tempiodaylight, while at 00am Dalian born/LA based artist @aliceyuanzhang will transmit a viscous swim through bodies of watery organs, habitats, creatures, and debris: an appetizer to her upcoming exhibition "eat me" in @newart.city festival
