Scammers may often pretend to be bank officers or Government officials to deceive and scare you into transferring your savings into unknown “security accounts”.
Government officials will
never request money transfers, banking credentials, or CPF-related information over the phone from members of the public. If in doubt, please call the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000, or submit a report online at www.police.gov.sg/iwitness.
