And what an insult to the many Australians of indigenous heritage that campaigned against altering the Constitution.
If YES activists really cared about indigenous Australians, they’d gracefully accept the result of the referendum - and acknowledge that people that voted NO because they believed the best way to overcome indigenous disadvantage was to send a message that we are all equal under The Constitution.
However, by having a dummy spit and ordering flags to be flown at half-mask, activists like Moore just confirm their support for the YES was more about indulgent feel-good, virtue signalling than it was about actually helping indigenous Australians.
