Climate Alarmists are getting all excited about Melbourne’s current "record-breaking" heatwave
Temperatures hit,
37.3°C on Sat
36.7°C on Sun
and are expected to hit 36.6°C today
OMG it’s sign of "global warming" they claim. Think of children !!However, back in 1940 (before global warming) Melbourne had 6 days in March substantially hotter than the hottest March day this year
And that’s not accounting for today’s temps being recorded in a small Stevenson Screen (known to measure 1°C hotter in summer) nor the greater ‘urban heat island effect’ with Melbourne of 2024 having a lot more concrete, steel & glass than in 1940

And for the month of March 1940, Melb. had 14 days above 30°C - all without the convenience of air conditioning.
But don’t expect the alarmist ABC to report these facts to the public - because it doesn’t fit with their climate alarmist agenda.
