DIGITAL ID - THE AUSTRALIA CARD ON STEROIDS
Back in 1985-87 the Australian Government tried to force a national identity card (the "Australia Card" ) upon the nation, however Australian’s from all walks of life and across the political spectrum joined together to protest against it - and they won the day, with the government withdrawing the proposal.
