One thing that has for long struck me about the discussions on race in Singapore is the complete silence about the diversity of the supposedly privileged Chinese majority.
It seems that "diversity" matters to bleeding heart lefties only if it serves their purposes. But when it comes to real diversity of experiences, heritage, language or culture, they try to pretend it doesn't exist, as it would upset their entire narrative.
