After several weeks of discussions and tests with experienced rally-raid co-pilots, my choice finally fell on Fabian Lurquin.

His approach to the race and his experience convinced me. The last-week presentation of the Dakar 2022 route, where navigation will always be of bigger importance, definitely sealed my choice.

We will now be able to start working with Fabian and start a preparation program to get to know each other better in order to be ready for the start of this legendary event. Open / Comment

Start Ceremony will take place in Omsk, Russia on July 1st, 2021.

The finish and the podium ceremony will take place on July 11 in the Mongolian capital, on their National Day that marks the beginning of the famous Nadaam festivities.

And while the first stages in Russia will serve essentially as a warm-up, with a total of 329 timed kilometres, the arrival on Mongolian soil will signal the start of hostilities with stages featuring between 340 and 540 kilometres of daily selective sections. Open / Comment
