How Gensler/SEC will try to save face:
- approve the biggest/best known ETF applicants at the same time as GBTC
- claim that when spot ETFs were rejected the market was less mature, easier to manipulate
- BS everyone claiming that the futures ETFs helped regulate the market
He/they will then point to the Bitcoin ETFs as proof the SEC are not 'anti crypto' just anti unregulated securities
Also "by granting the Blackrock/Fidelity/other ETFs we increase the regulated trading volumes enough to protect consumers"
