hopes for help of "old comrades" in FSB and other structures, as well as for public outcry.
Girkin cannot leave Russia, he simply has nowhere to leave.

поднят вопрос об аресте Игоря Стрелкова-Гиркина. Его публичную деятельность считают провокационной и вредной.
Стрелков
надеется на помощь «старых товарищей» в ФСБ и других силовых структурах, а также на общественный резонанс.
Уехать из России ему некуда.
