The leaders of the parliament groups (=party officials leading parliament work) are giving speeches, the Foreign Minister Haavisto (Greens), the Social Democrats and The Finns (opposition) all said that "it would be more than desirable for Finland and Sweden to apply for a NATO membership together"

“I think it will happen quite fast. Within weeks, not within months,” Finland’s Prime Minister Sanna Marin said last week, referring to her country deciding on whether to apply for membership.

Finland’s 200 members of parliament have received a government-commissioned “white paper” that assessed the implications of NATO membership alongside other security options, such as increased bilateral defence agreements. Open / Comment

Allied forces continue their offensive in the north towards Krasny Liman and in the south towards Pokrovsky.

North direction

The Armed Forces of Ukraine retreated from the city of Kremennaya without a fight, having previously blown up the city water intake pumping station. There is no other evidence of destruction in the city.

The village of Staraya Krasnyanka, located between Kremennaya and Rubizhny, passed under the control of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the NM of the LPR.

The Ukrainian side confirms the advance of the allied forces deep into the city of Popasna.

South direction

Russian units wedged between the enemy's defense nodes in the settlement. Velyka Novoselka and Gulyai-Polye. Makarovka, Storozhevoe, Rovnopol, Novoselka are occupied.

The RF Armed Forces managed to reach the western outskirts of Velikaya Novoselka and enter the rear of the Gulyai-Polskaya grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
