China launched the Shenzhou-14 manned spacecraft to the PRC orbital station

The crew included two men — Chen Dong (commander) and Cai Xiuzhe, as well as a woman named Liu Yang, who is the first female taikonaut in the history of Chinese manned cosmonautics. For Chen Dong and Liu Yang, this is the second flight into space. Cai Xiuzhe went into orbit for the first time.

The Taikonauts will stay at the station for about six months and will return to Earth in December this year. The crew must complete the construction of the orbital station: two laboratory modules - "Wentian" and "Mengtian" - will be sent to the station.

Among the tasks are monitoring the approach, docking and movement of two modules, completing the installation and commissioning of equipment inside and outside the station, performing daily maintenance tasks for the station, as well as carrying out extravehicular work and conducting experiments. In addition, Taikonauts will conduct several lessons from orbit for Chinese schoolchildren.
