There are lots of you people asking me what courses to learn so that you could get into this field, what i gotta say is stop wasting time on sans, ceh, oscp, offsec, infosec courses. Learn malware development, its what i learnt from my experience, the port scanning, web application pentest all these won't help when you're targeting big, getting into lan is very difficult through those attacks, just a cloudflare and a good firewall configuration can stop you, cloudflare has configurations that can stop the top 10 attack methods they teach on oscp,even though you get pass all of those youll be still stuck on the demilitarized zone. And there are very huge chances of you ruining everything by hitting a honey pot or getting spotted by intrusion detection systems. You can rely on courses if youre aiming low or if your a completely new and want to know how stuff works you can refer them, what i suggest is to learn malware development and social engineering. That way you can directly route youre attacks on lan rather than doing it the hard way. The programming languages i suggest are c, c#, c++, win api, (c# & win api are best) good luck
