Back in the late 1980s when I was still an Israeli and a Jew I | David Icke

Back in the late 1980s when I was still an Israeli and a Jew I attended a podium that hosted the top Israeli intelligence and strategist analysts at the time. The conference attempted to predict the future of the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Together Iseael’s top thinkers reached a conclusion that was reduced into a short statement: “For the Palestinians to win, all they need to do is to survive!”

The conflict that we see in Israel has nothing to do with Likuds’ politics or Judicial overhaul. it is inherent to the Jewish existence. It is known as ‘the Jewish Question’ . It refers to the dramatic dialectic tension between collective narcism and deep self hatred. it is basically a battle between the tribal and the universal and since the tribal and the universal are like oil and water, this battle can’t be resolved. Often in Jewish history these rival forces have manifested themselves in collective forms that evolved into an open war and total destruction.

Yet, the battle that we see in Tel Aviv is destined to spread to every western capital for the simple reason that we have drifted away from Athens that taught us how to ‘think for ourselves’. We have morphed into Jerusalemites that are trained how to produce ‘the correct answers’

If to use the wisdom of the 1980s Israeli analysts, to win in this battle all we have to do is to survive, pretty much like the Palestinians.

After all, we are all Palestinians now.I
