Differences Between "will" and "going to" ✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓ Even though most native speakers use these two interchangeably, "will", also referred as simple future, has some grammatical differences from "going to" (planned future).1. We use "going to" to talk about a planned activity for future. For instance:

2. We use "will" when we decide to do something at the time of speaking. For instance:
