Furniture sanalmaydigan ot hisoblanadi. Shuning uchun u hech qachon ko'plikda va noaniq artikl bilan kelmaydi va doim undan so'ng birlik fe'li ishlatiladi:

• The furniture in the canteen is not very comfortable (NOT The furnitures in the canteen are not...)
• The furniture was easy to transport (NOT The furniture were...)

Bir yoki ko'p mebel buyumlarini ifodalashda pieces/ltems of furniture kabi so'zlarda foydalanish mumkin:

• Some new pieces of furniture have been added.
