#AboutUsingFakeExamples

I am now watching a video of someone who claims that he is a former IELTS examiner. While developing the body paragraph, he says it is OK to use fake evidence or example and examiners don't necessarily check them.

I think it is very bad advice. Examiners are not stupid to see that you are clearly making up a fake research or study only to support your idea. I don't think it is a good way to lend support to your idea. Think about it. Would you be able to remember the details of the study (the percentages, the year, the publication) under exam conditions? I highly doubt that. Any sane examiner would immediately call that writer out on their BS, by lowering their score for Task Response.

Your examiner is someone with at least two degrees, who has checked hundreds of essays if not thousands. They can easily see you invented the study.
