The table provides poll results from freshmen at a university who rated five different aspects of their courses as “very good”. Overall, commerce students consistently showed the highest satisfaction rates across all aspects measured. Economics students showed considerable variations, while law students generally showed higher satisfaction levels compared to economics students, particularly in pre-course information and tutor support.

Commerce students had the highest percentage of positive ratings across course aspects. Over 90% of students in this program rated pre-course information, teaching quality and tutor support favorably. The ratings for print resources and other miscellaneous resources were slightly lower, at 81% and 86%, respectively.

Economics students expressed ambivalence toward various aspects of their courses. The overwhelming majority found teaching support and quality “very good”, 92% and 95% respectively. However, the students were less satisfied with other aspects: only 55% rated pre-course information highly, with slightly higher percentages for print resources (59%) and other resources (62%).

In contrast, the ratings for course aspects by law students showed less variation, with the percentage of students giving positive ratings ranging from 67% for teaching quality to 80% for other resources.
