Starting December 9, compulsory vaccination began in Ukraine for employees of all state-owned enterprises and organizations that are under the leadership of the central government, as well as hundreds of strategic enterprises.
And so, if the employee received at least one vaccination against covid, there will be no more grounds for suspension. In this case, the person must be allowed to perform official duties.
We would like to remind that in Ukraine one dose of vaccination from December 6 is valid only for 30 days. And if, after this period, the employee of the enterprise is not vaccinated with the second dose, there are grounds for dismissing him from work again.
According to the order of the Ministry of Health, the suspension will continue until the removal of its cause. If in the morning of this day the Ukrainian was not allowed to work, and in the afternoon he was vaccinated, then with a certificate of vaccination he can immediately return to his activities. There is no need to wait for the second injection and QR code. An employer may not fire a suspended unvaccinated employee. At the same time, a person will lose their wages in full - in proportion to all the "leisure" days.
The authorities drew attention to the fact that such citizens will not be paid sick leave. That is, if an employee suspended without vaccination falls ill with something, his sick leave will be free. The order says about the compulsory vaccination, except for justified medical contraindications, when it is impossible for health reasons. But, according to Lyashko, about 3-4% have contraindications.
By law, an unacceptable employee has the right to apply to the State Labor Service.
