Royal Canadian Mounted Police are increasing their presence at a blockade of truckers protesting Covid-19 mandates at Alberta’s southern border crossing. (CTV)
Some truckers and others have been sighted leaving the area voluntarily amid the growing police presence. The RCMP hopes to get the route cleared as the blockade has “negatively impacted the flow of goods and services,” it says.
It comes as Quebec drops a plan to tax adults refusing vaccines, saying it might be too divisive.
