DPR MFA Head: a criminal case has been initiated on the fact of video recording by the OSCE SMM of the DPR facilities deployment

During the live on Channel One Russia, DPR Minister of Foreign Affairs Natalia Nikonorova spoke about initiation of a criminal case by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic on the fact of video recording by some OSCE Special Monitoring Mission employees of a number of facilities in the DPR territory:

“At the moment a criminal case has been initiated on the fact of video recording of locations and deployment of the People's Militia troops of the Donetsk People's Republic, industrial bases and other facts of importance, using video recorders and OSCE cameras for their further transmission. Where? Law enforcement agencies are still finding it out, but in principle, you can already put together a certain picture for yourself.”

On April 9, a meeting of the State Defense Committee was held, at which a Resolution of the DPR State Defense Committee was adopted. It prescribes that the OSCE SMM activities in the Republic’s territory are illegal, and the presence of its representatives is undesirable. The local SMM personnel has already been informed about this decision. Until April 30, they must take all the necessary steps to stop activities in our territory, namely: to remove the OSCE SMM property, to pay off all financial debts to DPR business entities-residents and other steps necessary to stop activities.
