Statement by the official representative of the DPR People’s Militia on the situation on April 14, 2022
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has fired more than 100 shells and mines from 122-mm multiple launch rocket systems BM-21 "Grad", 152-mm and 122-mm cannon artillery.
The areas of 3 settlements of the Republic were under shelling. As a result of the Ukrainian aggression, 1 civilian was killed, 3 were injured. 26 residential buildings ad 3 civilian infrastructure facility and 1 vehicle were damaged.
Materials on the fact of wounding civilians and damage to infrastructure will be transferred to representatives of international human rights organizations, as well as to the DPR General Prosecutor's Office for inclusion in criminal cases initiated against the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The servicemen of the Donetsk People's Republic, together with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, continue to liberate the settlements of our Republic from Ukrainian invaders.
Since the beginning of the day, our servicemen have destroyed 46 Ukrainian nationalists, 1 firing position for a 120mm mortar, 1 ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft system, 1 infantry fighting vehicle and 2 armored vehicles. 1 IFV and 2 cargo vehicles were captured.
Unfortunately, there were losses among our fighters. Over the past day, in the struggle for independence, 5 defenders of the Donetsk People's Republic died in the line of military duty and 12 comrades were injured.
We express our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
