Statement by the official representative of the DPR People’s Militia on the situation on June 3, 2022
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has fired more than 250 shells and mines from 155mm multiple launch rocket systems “Grad”, 152 and122mm cannon artillery, as well as 120mm mortars.
The areas of 18 settlements of the Republic were under shelling. As a result of the Ukrainian aggression a civilian was killed and a civilian was injured. 22 residential buildings, 2 civilian infrastructure facilities and 4 vehicles were damaged.
Additional information about the injured civilians and infrastructure damage is being specified.
Materials on the fact of wounding civilians and damage to infrastructure will be transferred to the DPR General Prosecutor's Office for inclusion in criminal cases initiated against the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the day, joint actions of the military personnel of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed a T-80 tank, 2 IFV-2, an armored vehicle 4 and up to 40 personnel. Powerful fire impact suppressed 3 enemy firing positions near Avdeevka.
Unfortunately, there were losses among our fighters. Over the past day, in the struggle for independence, 4 defenders of the Donetsk People's Republic died in the line of military duty and 23 comrades were injured.
We express our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
