Dalle Khursani, the famous red hot cherry pepper of Sikkim, is set to get a geographical indication (GI) tag from the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
The GI tag is a name or a sign given to a certain product that has a specific geographical location or origin.
Considered one of the world’s hottest chillies, it has a range of 1,00,000 to 3,50,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units). The Scoville scale is a measurement of spiciness or heat of chillies.

Carbon Neutrality
What is carbon neutrality?
(1). Carbon neutrality occurs when the net carbon emissions over an entire year is zero or when the entity absorbs or offsets the same amount of emission that was generated.
(2). For Ex. If a units emits 100 tonne of CO2 equivalent of GHGs in a year than to become carbon neutral it must absorb or offset 100 tonne of CO2 emissions by measures like planting trees, installing solar panels etc.
