Corona in Dresden - Lockdown and FFP2
In the meeting on January 8, the #Saxon Cabinet decided to extend the lockdown period in #Saxony until
February 7.
There was no drastic change in the protective measures (Official announcement in English).
According to Saxon cabinet, from
January 16, 2021, the wearing of #FFP2 masks or masks of a comparable standard is mandatory for staff and visitors in
retirement and nursing homes and
day care facilities.
Furthermore, the federal government decided to:
extend the lockdown until
February 14
and wearing
FFP2 masks will be mandatory in all shops and public transport*
* It is yet not clear how this regulation will be applied.
