According to Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), the
city attracted 492 foreign direct investments during the first six months of 2022, an increase of 80.2% from the same period in 2021.
Over the same period,
15,164 new jobs were created through FDI investments and projects, an increase of 33.5% over the previous year.
Dubai retained the top spot for FDI-related jobs among the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries.
Underscoring its focus on investment retention and investor confidence,
Dubai ranked fourth globally in FDI reinvestment projects, 10th globally in FDI reinvestment capital inflows, and eighth in the number of jobs created through reinvestment projects.
