Greetings from Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai.
We are happy to inform you that the VIT-Chennai is organizing a national level online contest "Energy Ambassador-2021" Program in the month of December 2021 in association with Rotary Gaalaxy Coimbatore, The PSBB Millennium School Coimbatore and KPR Institute of Technology Coimbatore.
As humans, we have a collective responsibility to reduce the mutilation done to the planet & also to reduce our dependence on non-renewable fossil fuels that are depleting rapidly due to increased demand. Effective energy management, reduction of cost, emission & risks are essential for building sustainable energy systems.
The Energy Ambassador Program (EAP) gives an opportunity for the students to interact with industry experts thereby bridging the gap between academia and industry. This event will be helpful for the student community to come up with innovative ideas to provide feasible solutions to energy management and energy conservation by implementing new technologies.
Second year, VIT is proudly organizing this contest among the engineering college students on a national level to bring up the talents in the students and encourage them to involve in team work. A team of minimum 3 to maximum of 5 students can participate in this contest under faculty guidance. All the students and the Faculty will be given free workshops on latest technologies and boot-camps will be conducted with industry experts.
E-Certificates will be given to the students and Faculty for the workshops and they can get help from the Industry persons for the projects, case study report and ppt presentation. Apart from the case study report, they have to choose any three online modes of contest also. This will be elaborated in the launch program which is scheduled on 14/08/21 from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon.
After the launch, you can register for the contest and get involved in the process. The team has to work on the concept and submit their report online before the deadline. Best three prizes, best Faculty and Best College will be rewarded with exciting cash prizes. The result will be declared in the valedictory function during December ,2021.
