Dear Ejectors, I hope this finds you well. It has been chal | EJECT - Announcements

Dear Ejectors,

I hope this finds you well.

It has been challenging and a lot of fun to develop the EJECT platform. Besides a few minor UI fixes, the platform is fully operational.

We have showcased the platform to the community multiple times now, have received a lot of feedback, and we have of course made many improvements. There are still improvements to be made, and that is why I invited the community to submit bug reports, and give us design suggestions. The majority of bugs have been fixed, and some are still in the works.

EJECT, like every real world start-up, needs a lot of care, attention, and expertise. Countless considerations need to be taken into account in order for EJECT to go from a working platform into a thriving business: barriers to entry, competitive advantages, different business models, maximizing profits, and the best middle ground between attracting developers and investors into the platform.

I have worked on creating and developing the EJECT platform for almost 10 weeks now. I have invested into marketing the EJECT token for longer than that. However, that is something I cannot sustain moving forward.

It is clear to me, as well, that my knowledge is not sufficient to predictably make the EJECT business successful. I have no more money to put into EJECT and most and foremost, I am not confident I have the expertise to guarantee success.

Startups are created by entrepreneurs who dedicate themselves to their project. I have attempted to do that. I have created a platform, and a token that goes along with it. However, it is far from being a Business, let alone a profitable enterprise.

While focusing on EJECT, what I had to put aside was:
- Providing for my family
- Working on my career
- Saving money (The net loss I incurred because of EJECT is very very considerable)

And while focusing on the EJECT platform, EJECT token holders were dissatisfied with my absence.

This divide between what I need, what I am doing in my daily life, and what people expect is now unsustainable. EJECT holders want the EJECT platform to sustain their investment in the EJECT token, but the EJECT platform needs a business strategy, and investors in the platform. Investing infinite amounts of money in the EJECT token cannot, and will not result in the success of EJECT as a business.

Therefore, on this note, I choose to retract myself as the lone developer, investor, and leader of the EJECT platform and business.

I call upon the community to take over this role, as I will be handing out the majority of the developer wallet this week to our most trusted community members. I will always act as a bridge between the platform and the people in charge of the Business side of EJECT, and will keep working to improve the current version of the platform. But of course, I also need to look out for myself and my family, personally and financially. If starting over, there are many things that I would’ve done differently in my approach to creating EJECT, mostly regarding the timing and expectations for the business side of EJECT, and how it can correlate with the EJECT token.

The one thing I never want to change is the fabulous people that I’ve met in this journey. Incredibly committed and genuine individuals who are truly passionate about creating positive change in an industry that they are at the forefront of..

I am and will always be EJECT. EJECT will now be in the best possible hands, and in a better position to excel more than ever. We will make sure of it.
