Solskjær is being allowed to continue as #mufc manager but has been told his job is very much under threat. He has been told his fate is almost certain to be sealed during the international break unless he oversees positive results against Tottenham, Atalanta and City.

Sources close to Solskjær expect him to remain in charge for the trip to Tottenham but he has been given no guarantees beyond that. His coaching team is also under scrutiny, there was no appetite to remove him and install one of his backroom team on an interim basis.
