Rangnick has once again given Jesse Lingard his blessing to leave on loan, placing the situation firmly in the hands of United's hierarchy. Rangnick is understood to have met with Lingard at Carrington this morning and backed his wish to depart.

Newcastle United are understood to have made an improved offer to sign Jesse Lingard. West Ham have also lodged a new proposal, with better terms to those on which they took him for the second half of last season.
