2021-10-10 16:01:01 Manchester United players Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial have both been linked with a move to Newcastle United, who are looking to lay down a marker following their huge takeover.

Newcastle United have discussed the possibility of signing Jesse Lingard from Manchester United in the January transfer window, given that his contract is also out at the end of the season. However, it is not known if he would be open to the move. He turned down a loan to Newcastle in favour of West Ham a year ago.

Newcastle have made a formal enquiry to Manchester United concerning the signing of Anthony Martial. There are also Spanish clubs in the mix, Manchester United are likely to demand as close to the £54m they paid for the Frenchman 6 years ago but know they will be unable to recoup it all.
