Rule:11 - जब uncountable noun का प्रयोग countable noun की तरह होता है तब उसके पहले A/An use होता है।
Ex -
• I have a great love for her.
• She is an old love of mine.
• This a lamb.
Rule:12 - जब दो से अधिक Noun or Adjective एक ही व्यक्ति या वस्तु का बोध कराए तब सिर्फ एक ही के पहले Article का प्रयोग होता है, पर यदि अलग अलग वयकित्यो का बोध हो, तो उनमें से प्रत्येक के पहले Article का प्रयोग होता है।
Ex -
• a red and blue pencil.
• a red and a blue pencil.
• a poet and thinker.
• a poet and a thinker.
Rule :13 - 'A/An' is used the position of Indefinite Article in the following adverbs
"Rather, very, much, quite, so, too, such, as, etc.
Ex -
• It is rather a nuisance.
• She is too weak a student to pass.
• It is quite an interesting story.
Rule :14 - 'A/An' is used before the verb used as nouns.
Ex -
• for a swim.
• for a drive.
• for a talk.
• Have a pain.
Rule :15 - 'A/An is used before the adjectives 'little' and 'few' to give the sense of 'some'
A little - some (quantity)
A few - some (number)
Ex -
• Please give me a little sugar.
• I met a few students in the university.
