At the beginning is used to refer to the start or first part of something. It is usually followed by of.

At the beginning of the 2000s, the ice was much more complex, more difficult and thicker.

In the beginning means ‘at first’, and it usually suggests a contrast with a later situation. It is not usually followed by of.

In the beginning, computers were only used for the organization of information.

PRACTICE OR PRACTISE?

In British English, practice is a noun and practise is a verb.

Your English needs more practice.
You need to practise more.

In American English, the spelling `practise' is not normally used. The verb and noun are both spelled practice.

THE WHO LESSON

When ‘who’ acts as the subject of the sentence we don’t use the auxiliary verb. It appears when we need to ask a negative question.

Who broke the window? (subject)
Who didn’t go to school? (negative)
Who do you love? (object)
