2021-06-08 19:30:59 UPSC is constantly asking such questions from the Science Tech CA portion. But 75 percent of the people failed in this question. You are advised to revise carefully.

2021-06-08 18:31:38 Current affairs Strategy for those who are going to appear in 2021:

Atleast 15 months of current affairs is needed. So you are advised to prepare current affairs from June 2020 to September (15th) 2021.

Category 1: If you religiously read and make notes of Daily newspaper and magazine then no read to read from other sources for Prelims 2021. You are advised to revise them carefully. You should skip Yearly compilations.

Category 2: If you didn't read newspaper and magazines regularly, You still have enough time to cover Current affairs through magazines. Monthly magazines cover more content and dimensions than Yearly compilations. You should give priority to monthly magazines over Yearly compilations, and Yearly compilations are suggested in the exceptional case when you can't read monthly magazines.
•Ready made Current affairs Short Notes are not suggested.

Current affairs Strategy for 2022 will be shared tomorrow.

2021-06-07 19:15:23 "If you don't know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else"

Conclusion of above two posts:
•Don't ignore Answer Writing practice at any cost.
•Revision is the key to success
•Solve Prelims mock tests as much as u can
•Make a proper strategy i.e don't go blindly
•CSAT must not be ignored

2021-06-07 18:45:07 Strategy for those students who haven't prepared well for upsc cse prelims 2021:

As you aren't confident about Prelims, You are advised to focus on Prelims along with Answer Writing practice and Optional. You can't skip Answer Writing practice at any cost. Write 1 or 2 answers daily till 15-20 August.
You should make a target of solving atleast 40 mock tests in this 4 months' period. If you have already solved 40+ tests then you are advised to Revise them carefully. then only think about extra mock tests. Always Remember, revision is the key to success, so Revise static and Current affairs portions carefully.

For Current affairs, I will write a separate message.
