With UK Govt paying a single power station nearly £1billion in 2021 alone, is it any wonder our gas/electric bills have gone through the roof? Don't believe the claptrap about Gas/Oil prices as they are lower than they were 10/15 years ago and there wasn't a price crisis back then. Around 42% of UK's electricity came from "renewables" in 2021.....yep, thats mainly from chopping down and burning trees
