As per report from BusinessKorea, Samsung is trying to join the supplier of Apple's next-generation M-series chips. However, it is not a OEM, but a supplier of Apple's FC-BGA. At present, Samsung is already the FC-BGA supplier of the M1 chip. In order to maintain its competitiveness in this regard, Samsung is said to have invested 1.3 trillion won to build an FC-BGA factory in Vietnam, and an additional 300 billion won to expand its factory in South Korea.
