Iran’s Nuclear Warning: No Deal If Probe Continues
On Monday President Ebrahim Raisi warned western powers to end inspectors’ investigations into uranium particles found at undeclared sites in Iran if they want to save the fragile nuclear deal.
Raisi also threatened Israel for pledging to destroy Tehran’s nuclear program, warning it that “they will see if anything from the Zionist regime will remain or not” if they continue to target Iranian sites and scientists.
He also insisted there was “no benefit” to meeting President Joe Biden when he attends next month’s UN General Assembly.
At the IAEA’s latest count, Iran possesses over 10 times the levels allowed under the 2015 nuclear deal.
