A glance at the diagram given illustrates distribution of the Chinese 3 age groups by collecting information from 1960 and with prediction to 2050.
Overall, position of 15-64 age group cannot be replaced over the period shown whereas a quantity of elderly people was the least.
In the beginning, 1960, population under 14 years old stood the first share with just about 45 percent, this was followed by a period of marked decline to half as high as its original level in 2020. The following 30 years will undergo a minimal plunge to 17,5%. Number of retired people, meanwhile, remained stable between 10% and approximately 12%, before soaring tremendously to somewhere in the vicinity of 25% in 2050.
There was an exponential rise in 15-64 age group from around 37 percent to a peak of 70% between 1960 and 2020, a growth of just nearly 35% in six decades. Then figure for this is about to see a considerable decrease to 52,5% at the end.
