## FDA approves new drug for the prevention of migraine ##

The FDA has approved atogepant(Qulipta) for the prevention of episodic migraine. The once daily medication will be available in doses of 10mg, 30mg and 60mg.

Atogepant is a calcitonin gene related peptide(CGRP) antagonist. It targets CGRP, which is involved in migraine development.
