Barbara Pravi will represent France in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest with Voilà after winning both jury and televote, amassing a total of 204 points! Juliette Moraine’s traditional ballad Pourvu qu’on m’aime finished second with 136 points while PONY X, who became one of the jury’s favorite acts, completed the podium with a score of 124.

2021-01-29 17:49:40 Danmarks Radio will reveal the eight entries competing in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix on February 10th! The songs will be premiered on P4 Radio’s morning show Formiddag på 4’eren, which starts at 10:03 CET on every weekday, hosted by Knud Lind and Lotte Friis, as well as P3 Buffeten and P4 Play. At 14:00 CET, they will be made available on dr.dk and the DMGP app.

In other news, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2021 will have a live orchestra! DR’s 15-member orchestra, led by Peter Düring, will provide the instrumentals for all the eight tracks as the acts perform at a TV studio in DR’s headquarters—once again, without an audience. The show will be hosted by Tina Müller and Martin Brygmann.

2021-01-28 21:02:48 NRK has admitted that there were technical problems with the voting in the first two Melodi Grand Prix Semi-Finals resulting in some votes from older Android and iOS devices not being counted. However, the broadcaster asserts that the results wouldn’t have changed with these votes.
