New Sectors Opening

Even in space, there should be a place where you can stay. A place where you can store your treasures, set up your manufacturing facilities, a place you can call your home. That’s what Sectors are for.

The last time Sectors became available for acquisition, many travelers managed to secure their positions in space. But that was far from enough. Recently scientists have discovered 9 more Planets full of different resources, and just now they have finished researching their surfaces.

Planets have been divided into 470 Sectors of 3 different sizes which are now available for acquisition:
S - size - 220 Sectors
HIP-41 (Volcanic) - 80 Sectors - 755.000 Cr.
HAS-20 (Earth) - 30 Sectors - 1.077.000 Cr.
HADES-10 : (Volcanic) - 30 Sectors - 819.000 Cr.
NEX-1 (Toxic) - 80 - Sectors - 713.000 Cr.

M - size - 140 Sectors
SEDNA-1 (Toxic) - 30 Sectors - 1.893.000 Cr.
MAZU-1 (Volcanic) - 80 Sectors - 2.063.000 Cr.
MEB-5 (Rock) - 30 Sectors - 2.681.000 Cr.

L - size - 110 Sectors
NYX-6 (Gas) - 30 Sectors - 4.092.000 Cr.
TIHO-6 (Rock) - 80 Sectors - 4.568.000 Cr.

Planets containing Sectors available for acquisition can be found via Starmap and have blue edging. Choose Star System, Planet, and then Sector. When hovering above a Planet you can see the number of vacant Sectors. Dark blue color - the Sector is already acquired, light blue means the Sector is yet free.

In Phase VII of Farsite development, the Sectors will become available for trading with the Market V2 release.
