Example? EURUSD was in a downtrend from 2021 to 2023, moving under the same trendline on a daily chart.

Therefore, you don't need to rush when trading trendlines. Draw a line, wait for a breakout and a retest, and enter the trade after it. Then you have two options:

Open a new trade whenever the price touches the trendline and close it at some distance.
Hold the initial trade for a long time and close it when the price breaks the next trendline (changes the trend).
