We are in the process of renaming protocol "wialon_ips" to "wialon-ips" and this protocol is being used in one test which is now is failing. We will fix the test and system will report uptime state back.

2021-09-13 10:13:50 Tomorrow, September 14th, we will start migration of devices (and containers) messages storage system to a microseconds granularity.

The most important effect that you may observe is that messages in device storage won't be merged anymore on a seconds granularity, but on a microseconds granularity - e.g. provide more distinct reflection of what happened to devices. Most of devices are generating messages once per second so you probably won't notice anything. But for those who are using advanced devices that are capable to detect input line switches few times per one second you will be provided with extra possibilities.

The transitioning process will take 1-2 weeks and we suppose completely finish it till the end of September. We do not expect any significant effect to any REST/MQTT operations during the update, maybe you may experience very short delays for some REST queries at some stages of mirror update in some shares, but they should be quite short. At least we will do everything to ensure that update is installed very smooth.

Everybody that is using streams for data delivery to a 3rd party system won't be affected at all as streams are forwarding same messages as received from the channel/device.

flespi analytics system will continue to operate in a seconds granularity mode so far. It will be updated to a microseconds granularity later on a separate basis.

We have important information for those who are using flespi streaming system to MS Azure.
In short: Streaming from flespi to Azure was broken today from 13:23 to 14:46 (UTC).

More information:
Today at 13:23 (UTC) we installed update that enhanced streams functionality with new feature. During it's development we introduced a bug that appeared only in Azure stream type.
Due to the lack of the special test of this stream type in our automatic tests we failed to detect this bug during development and it was reported by one of our users. Once reported we immediately rolled back the update at 14:46 (UTC) followed by the installation of the fix a little bit later.

Basically messages streamed in Azure stream type today from 13:23 to 14:46 (UTC) were broken (multiple messages at once) instead of single message. We apologize for the inconvenience occurred. 2021-06-18 12:59:44 The high load on the flespi storage system we recently observed was introduced during internal maintenance and upgrade operation.
One of our database services performed special update operation and periodically replied to the REST API calls with noticeably high delay. We have 9 of such services in row and it means that 1 from 9 of REST API calls could be delayed.

Once this database service finished the whole upgrade process (there were 3 stages of this process) it resumed its normal operation.

First problem was detected at 09:00(UTC) today and last one finished at 09:35(UTC). Currently all systems are operating in green zone and you can monitor https://flespi.com/status for live stats.
