The leadership of the National Guard actually failed the task of checking the units that arrived in Washington for # COVID19.

According to Politico, some units were checked before leaving for Washington, others were already in place, and some were checked exclusively orally for symptoms.

According to Politico, some states have ordered their guardsmen to ignore the quarantine and return home even before the inauguration due to the rise of radical protests.

Before being sent home, not all military personnel have time to check, and those who remained in quarantine in local hotels (Donald Trump also offered his hotel in the capital to accommodate the military) are becoming a real logistical problem for the Pentagon and Washington itself.

There is no agreed plan to vaccinate all 26,000 (latest figures) of the military, as well as a plan to return this entire army home.
