Where the Sumerians came from in the Mesopotamia is still unclear. The theory that they came from the banks of the Indus, inhabited by Dravidian black tribes, has been disproved by paleogeneticists - the Sumerians did not differ in appearance from the modern Iraqi Arabs.
Attempts to find similarities in the fragments of material culture, among utensils and implements with characteristic manufacturing features refuted the idea that the Sumerians had their roots in Bahrain, Arabia, Iran or India.
In my opinion, the solution is the simplest - a people well versed in boating and fishing did not come, but sailed into the Mesopotamia. Sea nomads could have gotten into the Persian Gulf from anywhere, but certainly not by land.
