What is bursitis?
This is the name of irritation or inflammation of the articular bag, in which the joint is filled with fluid and swells. The articular surface with bursitis seems warm or even hot to the touch and looks edematous.
This condition is often also caused by an increased load on the limb, for example, repetitive movements.
