Eligibility Criteria
Students who are pursuing BE/B. Tech in CSE/IT/other quantitative branches.
Year of degree completion: 2022
CGPA above 8 in the current degree.
You should not have participated in any Microsoft hiring event in the last 12 months.


SELECTION CRITERIA
Shortlisting is based on Resume & Academic credentials.
Shortlisted candidates will go through group discussions in batches on Oct 13, 2021.
The final list of candidates will be announced between Oct 14 - 19, 2021.
We will officially launch the program on Oct 20, 2021.

w3af is a free and open source web application security scanner that’s widely used by hackers and penetration testers. w3af stands for web applicationattack and audit framework. Using this hacking tool, one can get security vulnerability information that can be further used in penetration testing engagements. w3af claims to identify more than 200 vulnerabilities (including the likes of cross-site scripting, SQL Injection, PHP misconfigurations, guessable credentials, and unhandled application errors) and make a web application (and website) more secure.

w3af comes both in command line and graphical user interface to suit the needs of a hacker. In less than 5 clicks and using the predefined profile for the beginners, one can audit the security of a web application. As it’s well documented, the new users can easily find their way. Being an open source hacking tool, an experienced developer can play with the code, add new features, and create something new.

w3af is available for Linux, BSD, and OS X. On Windows, its older versions are supported.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has invited applications from interested participants for a free online course on Geospatial Technology. Here’s what you need to know before applying

Things to know:
The course is scheduled to be held between 11 October to 15 October 2021.
The course will contain five lectures (each being one and half hours in duration).
The course will be on Geospatial modelling and applications for urban and regional areas.
This course will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun, a centre of ISRO’s Department of Space.
The course is designed for professionals engaged in urban and regional planning, students and researchers of urban and regional planning, geography, environmental studies, civil engineering, architecture, etc.
This course is free of charge.
All the participants who attend 70 per cent sessions of the course live, via the e-class portal, will be awarded a certificate.
The participants who attend the course sessions via IIRS YouTube channel should mark their attendance via offline sessions available after 24 hours to be eligible for the certificate.
