The concept of obedience to "authority" is something I have never understood. Why would any functional human being wish to abdicate responsibility for their own lives and decisions to some nebulous external entity, let alone give them half your money for the privilege?

The bizarre cult of statism has been able to take hold because most of humanity has been reduced to an infantile state, little children in adult bodies pleading for daddy government to tell them what to do. It's the whole reason we find ourselves in the current situation. Would-be tyrants impose their will through edicts spouted by the parasitic political class and enforced at gunpoint by its hired thugs.

Time to grow up, people. Stop giving your power away and take control of your own lives.
