Freshershunt - Off Campus Drive Updates — Telegram Channel

Freshershunt runs as a high-volume job board delivered as individual Telegram posts, each one built around a single opening at a named company: role title, location, expected salary, batch and degree eligibility, and a link to a longer listing on the channel's own site. Posting is dense, often close to ten separate openings in a single day, with barely any post free of a repeated block of links at the bottom pointing to the channel's WhatsApp group, YouTube "how to apply" video, and Instagram.

The roles skew toward large IT services and product firms recruiting Indian graduates in bulk: Cognizant, Accenture, TCS, HCLTech, and Zycus feature repeatedly for entry-level software, data-analytics, and service-desk positions with wide degree eligibility (BE/BTech through BCom, BBA, and pure-science streams), alongside sharper, higher-bar postings such as a Sony Research data-science internship, a Salesforce campus software-engineering role capped at three applications a year, and a periodic roundup post that bundles active drives from TCS, Microsoft, Google, and Deloitte into one list. Salaries are consistently marked "expected," meaning the figure is the channel's estimate rather than a number confirmed by the employer, and one post explicitly warns that a listed recruiter never charges a fee at any stage, a sign that fee scams are a known risk in this space.

One post breaks from the job-listing format entirely: a first-person story about months of rejected applications that pivots into a pitch for a paid daily-alert subscription at a small fixed price, promising hundreds of unseen weekly openings. It reads as testimonial but functions as an advertisement for the channel's own premium product, and it sits in the same feed as the free listings without being marked as different in kind.

This is useful for Indian students and recent graduates who want a constant stream of off-campus drive and internship openings across a wide range of degrees, provided they treat salary figures as estimates and verify each posting against the employer's own careers page before applying. It offers no career guidance, interview preparation, or commentary beyond the individual listings themselves.
