More Content to Come

Over the years of our experience, Freshman Team has accumulated extensive knowledge about international exams, funded opportunities, the admissions process, etc.

It is time to give back to our community by sharing some of these findings, observations, and insights.

To this end, we are announcing some great rubrics led by our teaching team where each weekday will be dedicated to a specific theme.

Mondays: #AdmissionsWithUmid

In the form of short articles, Umid - who has just got admitted to Yale with a full scholarship - will be covering different aspects of the admissions process. Given that Umid studied in an ordinary public school in Uzbekistan, his experience will be particularly valuable for most students who are just starting their journeys.

Tuesdays: #AdviceFromValera

In 1-minute video messages, Valera will be sharing some of his thoughts on the psychology of exam-taking, creating study plans, crafting successful applications. Many of these insights are coming from his experience of studying at Yale-NUS and Yale, presenting on the highest levels, including the UN in Geneva, and teaching scores of successful students, coming from different countries.

Wednesdays: #SpeakingWithKristina

Kristina is one of the best speakers at Freshman with an IELTS score of 8.5, which she got on her very first try. Kristina is a newly admitted student at NYU Abu Dhabi with a full scholarship. She will be posting sample speaking responses to the most difficult questions. Drop by our free Speaking sessions, to get both Kristina's and Sam's feedback on your speaking.

Thursdays: #VocabWithSam

Sam has been a very successful leader of the Freshman Speaking Club. He was admitted to NYU Shanghai with a generous scholarship. In his rubric, Sam will be posting the most challenging academic words, while supplementing these with his audio message that will provide a further guideline on pronunciation and examples of usage.

Fridays: #MathWithAlisher

Alisher is the Head of Math Content at @satprepare, which has for years been the most popular blog on the SAT in the Post-Soviet space and Freshman's long-standing ally. Alisher is a graduate of Nazarbayev University and an outstanding professional in what he does. In #MathWithAlisher, he will be presenting solutions to some of the most challenging math problems.
