2022 crime statistics are out: worse than last year, better than next year
The Ministry of the interior released last week a new report called
"Insecurity and delinquency in 2022". As underlined in its introduction,
"almost all recorded delinquency indicators in France were up in 2022 on the previous year".
Just to name a few: murders are up 9%, rape and attempted rape up 12%, burglaries up 11%, drug abuse 14%.
